Sunny days are bringing out the fish. Fly fishing in Rockport, Texas and surrounding waters has been excellent as of late. The weather has bee cooperative... mostly. The wind can be a bit tough at times, but the sun is out and temps are perfect. While fly fishing the flats surrounding Rockport, TX lately, we are seeing massive amounts of bait in the shallows. Shrimp and glass minnows have been most prevalent as of late and the fish have taken notice. Cruising reds, with their backs out of the water, can be seen searching for food. The sea trout have been very active in the mornings, chasing shrimp
