December is here and it's time for an update to our Rockport fishing report. We're not real sure what happened to November. Sure seemed to go quick. But things are still rolling here on the Texas Coast and we will fill you in with what we've been seeing out there lately. In the past couple of weeks, we've had quite a few folks asking us what types of flies we are using to get all these big bull reds we're posting pictures of. So we figured we would knock out a little video showing how to tie one of the quickest and easiest baitfish patterns, the Seaducer. The weekend is over and we are catching up with an update Rockport fishing report before the holiday weekend. Things are still cranking really well around here. Fall fishing is still prime time. Another week in the books here, and time for an updated Rockport fishing report. As we close out the month of October, the fishing continues to get better and better down here on the flats of Southwest Texas. The trend should continue as we move on into November and the remainder of our Fall. It was a pretty good past week here on the Texas Coast. The redfishing was pretty solid early in the week. Here is your Rockport Fishing Report for the second week of May. Things have been a bit interesting around here since our last report. Lot's of weather, which has been making things a bit challenging for us some days. Maybe a bit more of the same for this weeks report as well. Fishing around the flats these days has been... ok. Not good. Not great. And not terrible either. But a solid OK seems to be a pretty fair assessment. We are seeing and catching fish every day. But it hasn't been easy out there lately. Here is the first Rockport Fishing Report for the month of May. April was a crazy busy month around here and seemed to fly by. The weather was good, fishing was good and things just seemed to cruise along. Now May is here and hopefully there is more of the same to come. So far, May has announced itself with some authority.
