With the recent change in the weather, the fishing has been very good. Its amazing what a little sunshine will do! The past few days have been clear, warmer and low winds. This has enabled us to fish pretty much anywhere we want with very good success.
We are seeing plenty of fish in shallow throughout the day. Tailing fish can be seen in the right water. And reds crashing bait in the grass has been a mainstay throughout the day. These fish are eating, and eating well. Find the right fish, and he will eat a topwater fly for you quite well aslo.
Overall, your Rockport fishing report is excellent. And we will have the same weather holding over us for almost a week coming up. The fishing should just get better and better with each warm day. I did end up with a couple of days open late this week, if you are able to put together a last second trip to Rockport.
