The days continue to get warmer and warmer… for the most part. Sunny days are a bit more of the norm now, with some light prevailing winds. Excellent fishing weather.
The past few days have been very good for trout in the morning, then good redfishing throughout the day. We are seeing the occasional tailing fish, but mostly fish that are cruising and laying up shallow to warm up. Most fish are cooperative or at least interested in a good cast. Especially those in less than a foot of water. But there are plenty of shots to be had each day.
Fishing will continue to get better and better as the weather warms up the water on the Texas flats. Hopefully the wind cooperates, as it does tend to blow a bit more during the springtime. But fishing is very strong now and I am available for dates this month still as well as a few early March days left.
