Half Day
When you book a half day fly fishing trip with Fly Fish Rockport, it will typically last four to five hours. You will meet your Captain at a meeting place and time of his choosing. This decision will be based on current weather, tides and fishing conditions. Clients can choose between morning and afternoon half day trips. Your captain will be more than happy to work with you to meet your scheduling needs as well.
Your half day fly fishing trip with Fly Fish Rockport will include all of the necessary gear you may need; rods, reels, flies and terminal tackle. Of course you are welcome to bring your own as well. There will also be a cooler on board filled with waters and ice. You are also welcome to bring any other food and drink you may like.
Our goal is to provide the best fly fishing experience possible. For that reason, Fly Fish Rockport clients can expect roughly four hours of fishing for each half-day fly fishing trip. Please note that this is subject to change in the event of inclement weather or other hazardous conditions as determined by your Captain. We look forward to having you in the boat, and providing you a great half-day trip on the flats of Rockport, Texas.
Fly Fish Rockport happily accepts cash, personal checks, travelers checks, VENMO, PayPal, Apple Pay and all major credit cards. ALL credit card transactions will be charged 3% of the amount, due to processing fees.
Payment and Trip Cancellation Policy
The following applies to all Rockport fly fishing trips booked and organized by Fly Fish Rockport. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as all terms are binding once a Rockport fly fishing trip is booked with Fly Fish Rockport. Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the payment, deposit, cancellation, refund and responsibility clauses set fourth by Fly Fish Rockport.
All Rockport fly fishing guide trips require a $100 deposit. This deposit is completely refundable up to 30 days prior to your trip with Fly Fish Rockport. Due to the nature of the Rockport fly fishing guide business, short notice cancellations are usually very hard to re-book and represent an irretrievable loss of income for the Rockport fly fishing guide. Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit the deposit unless the Rockport fly fishing guide and Fly Fish Rockport can re-book the day. If Fly Fish Rockport can not fill that day, the deposit will be given to the Rockport fly fishing guide and Fly Fish Rockport to help offset the loss of the day. In the event of inclement weather, Fly Fish Rockport reserves the right to cancel your Rockport fly fishing trip. Fly Fish Rockport will do everything possible to rebook the trip as soon as possible and in conjunctions with the clients needs. If rescheduling the trip is not an option, Fly Fish Rockport may offer either a partial or full refund to the client.
