A nice redfish tail in the morning
Better weather has made for better fishing as of late. The fly fishing around the Rockport, Texas area has been quite good. Plenty of redfish, black drum and trout to be had. A little ride in the boat and you can find jacks or other fish around the rigs.
The wind has been a bit annoying lately, as is common for the Spring and early Summer. But it isn’t too difficult to find a place to hide or tuck in to a marsh somewhere for a little break. The bright days are making visibility quite good and we are seeing plenty of fish to throw at each day.
